1. Introduction
Welcome to Start the puzzle consultancy. By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please review these terms carefully.
2. Services Provided
Our consultancy offers practical strategies and advice to support children with additional needs. All recommendations are based on professional experience and are intended to be implemented over a minimum period of 4 weeks to evaluate their effectiveness.
3. No Refund Policy
All payments for consultancy services are final and non-refundable. Please ensure that you understand and agree to this policy before committing to any sessions.
4. Individual Results
Each child is unique, and therefore, the effectiveness of the strategies provided may vary. We cannot guarantee that a strategy that works for one child will work for another. Consistency and patience are key when implementing these strategies.
5. Non-Diagnostic Services
Our consultancy does not provide diagnostic services. We do not and cannot diagnose any medical, psychological, or developmental conditions. For any concerns requiring a diagnosis, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.
6. Sharing of Reports
Reports and recommendations provided by our consultancy may be shared with your child's school. However, there is no legal obligation for the school to implement these strategies. While we encourage collaboration with educational institutions, the final decision on whether to use our recommendations rests with the school.
7. Confidentiality
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Any data shared with us during consultations will be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of providing tailored advice and strategies for your child.
8. Limitation of Liability
While we strive to provide the best possible advice and strategies, Start the Puzzle shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use of our services. This includes any issues that may arise from implementing the strategies suggested.
9. Amendments
We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and it is your responsibility to review them periodically.
By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us.
The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) came into force on 25th May 2018 and requires that all businesses issue a privacy statement to all clients and contacts, regarding the data held about the individual.
What information is held
The information held comes from you as the parent and your child.

I only hold the data needed to provide the services you engage me to provide.
Contact information is used for scheduling, invoicing, and communicating my services.
Data will not be shared unless there is a legal obligation to do so.
All reasonable steps are taken to ensure your data is processed and stored securely. This information is usually stored on a password protected computer. Names, contact numbers and email addresses are also stored in my email contacts on my password protected computer.
Consent
It is assumed that when you pay for the services , you consent to me holding the information about your child on file. It is assumed that consent to communicate via GoogleMeet/Zoom/Skype and other online platforms is given by parents for the online session.
Data Breaches
The GDPR introduces a duty on all organisations to report certain types of data breach to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), and in some case, to individuals. In the event of a data breach, I will notify the ICO of a breach where it is likely to result in a risk to the rights an freedoms of individuals – if, for example, it could result in discrimination, damage to reputation, financial loss, loss of confidentiality or any other significant economic or social disadvantage.
